SUMMARY:Week 1 - Water Play
DESCRIPTION:This week is all about the amazing aspects of water!  Explore the outdoors with bubbles\, sprinklers\, water pipes\, and splash pads! Mixing\, pouring\, and making a mess is encouraged! Students will participate in a whole host of water-based activities in the wonderful sunshine of July.  Classroom exercises will teach students about the Montessori learning environment as well as grace and courtesy lessons.  Family style lunch will be served on Friday with Beef Sliders\, Sweet Potato Fries and Garden Veggies.

Nature Song students will develop those larger muscles with coordination and balance\, experiencing the joy of team sports through positive reinforcement and developmentally appropriate games. Children will experience a wide range of outdoor activities\, which will encourage positive social interaction\, communication\, and team work. SUMMARY:Week 3 - STEAM Fun
DESCRIPTION:Kids love hands on science and this week we will explore fun and simple experiments that will lay the basic foundations for Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Art\, and Mathematics. We will gather materials\, observe\, reflect\, ask questions\, and experiment. Topics will range from basic principals of Astronomy\, Botany\, Anatomy\, Chemistry\, Physics\, Art Technique\, and Zoology. These lessons are meant to encourage a sense of wonder for the world and a lifetime of discovery! Be prepared for your little ones to amaze you with questions like “We know our legs lift us up\, but what pulls us back down?”

SUMMARY:Week 4 - Nature Based Art
DESCRIPTION:For our fourth week of the Summer program\, children will engage in outdoor sensorial and art activities using natural materials like sticks\, rocks\, flowers\, leaves\, fruits\, vegetables\, etc.  We will observe insects\, watch the metamorphosis of a caterpillar\, as well as many other activities designed to understand the forms of life.  We look forward to bringing out the artist in your child as they explore their curiosity and creative side in nature\, and you will be amazed at all the wonderful projects created just for you!
