SUMMARY:Week 1 - Water Play
DESCRIPTION:This week is all about the amazing aspects of water!  Explore the outdoors with bubbles\, sprinklers\, water pipes\, and splash pads! Mixing\, pouring\, and making a mess is encouraged! Students will participate in a whole host of water-based activities in the wonderful sunshine of July.  Classroom exercises will teach students about the Montessori learning environment as well as grace and courtesy lessons.  Family style lunch will be served on Friday with Beef Sliders\, Sweet Potato Fries and Garden Veggies.

SUMMARY:Week 7 - Preparing For The Harvest Festival
DESCRIPTION:This week is all about giving thanks to our community.  We will be practicing our grace and courtesy lessons that we have learned throughout the year.  We will prepare baked goods\, make beautiful flower arrangements\, and create beautiful art to display at our end of the Summer Harvest Festival.  Students will create programs to hand out as well as take part in the special jobs that help them feel like they are part of something bigger.  All of our current and former Nature Song Montessori friends and family will be invited to feast their eyes and tastebuds on our student’s hard work. DESCRIPTION:Schedule of EventsRead on for a breakdown of the day\, and a links to add your name to if you can join us.  This event is always a lot of work\, but so very worth it to see and catch up with all of you and our former students. \n\n10- 12:00pm       \n\nNSM Setup at Helvetia Farm (feel free to come by and drop off any food or help set up)\n\n\n12:00 – 1:00pm \n\nFlower Pounding with Ms. Jessica\nIce Cream making – group contribution!\nApple Cider Pressing – Bring a clean container to fill and take home!\n\n\n1pm – 2pm \n\nFamily games\n\nPotato sack races\nThree legged races\nEgg and Spoon Races\n\n\n\n\n2pm – 2:30pm \n\nClean up and Goodbyes\n\n\n\nDuring the event we’ll have a number of activities set up with beamo frisbees\, corn hole\, soccer nets\, foot stomp rockets and refillable water balloons.  Get ready to taste some amazing food\, pressed apple juice\, and mint chocolate chip ice cream! \nThe RSVP for this event is not mandatory\, but does help us plan how many activities need to be put out\, and how to handle the flow of the event.Please RSVP below.In past years\, we have had so many activities demonstrated in our classroom like Algerian fashion shows\, Japanese origami and natsu matsuri\, soap making\, and Czech holiday candle making\, so if anyone would like to participate by adding something to the agenda\, please let us know (no pressure there will already be a lot to do).  Also if you have any flowers from your garden that you would like to bring for the flower pounding activity\, please do.  We welcome all shades and colors that nature provides. \nWhew that was a lot of words!  If this is too last minute of a notification\, we completely understand\, but if you could make the time to join us\, we would love to see you and catch up.  Thank you all so much for the many years of community\, it is the driving force behind this school and has enriched our lives in so so many ways.  We hope everyone’s return to school is awesome\, and we hope to see you Saturday!
